Svenska Spel Launches New Version of Playscan

Svenska Spel continues its pioneering work with gaming responsibility. Their original Playscan device was developed to track and monitor gamers’ habits and to ensure that problematic habits are recognised and addressed at an early stage. Playscan identifies players who are at risk of developing harmful gambling habits and offers these players tools to help them change problematic behaviour.

Jesper Kärrbrink, CEO of Svenska Spell, claims Playscan can identify gamers with problematic habits with a precision rate of up to 90%. This gambling monitoring device aims to increase the client’s control over, and awareness of, their own gambling habits.

Speaking of the newest version of Playscan, Hendrik Hallberg, Chief Technology Officer of Playscan AB, says: “The new features in Playscan 3.7 evolve the technical capabilities in behavioural tracking towards harm minimization”.

Svenska’s latest version, Playscan 3.7, provides enhanced targeting and effective damage control. The new version is able to monitor gaming activity across various types of games, including Poker, Lottery, Bingo as well as the usual array of online casino games such as Blackjack, Roulette and Slots.
