Delaware could get online gambling

Officials in Delaware, one of just two states in the USA which permit online casino games, is looking to create a formal online gaming regime by no later than 30 September this year.

Delaware’s State Lottery stated in a release recently that the lottery is currently accepting bids to determine a service provider for the imminent online gaming regime.

The move comes on the back of the Lottery’s statement earlier this year that they wish to get legislation in place to allow sport betting, betting games and a video lottery legally under the State Lottery.

According to the lottery, they intend to go one step further than the state of Nevada, which offers only legal online poker in its web gambling games available, and instead intend to offer other casino stalwarts such as Blackjack, Roulette, Keno, Bingo and more.

The dates which have been set aside for presentations by the bidders on their plans for the project are the first two weeks of April, from 1st to the 12th.
